If you want to remove the pine oil from pine wood, you can choose alkaline washing, rinsing, eradication and dissolution.

【1】Alkaline washing method

Use 8%~10% sodium carbonate (edible alkaline surface) aqueous solution, or 4%~6% caustic soda solution to clean the pine wood with pine oil, so as to saponify the pine oil (oil and alkali act to turn into soap and glycerin), and then use a sponge or brush to dip it in hot water (40~50℃).

【2】Dissolve method

is dissolved with 25% acetone aqueous solution, and can also be brushed with a mixture of 20% acetone aqueous solution and a small amount of alkali.

【3】Rinse method

Add 20 grams of bleaching powder, add 0.5 kg of warm water to dissolve it. Use this solution to repeatedly apply the pine oily part of the pine wood until it turns slightly white, and then rinse it with water.

【4】Elimination method

For parts that seep more pine oil, you can use a shovel to remove the parts and then smooth them with mud. No matter which method is used, it is necessary to scrub with ethanol (alcohol) or apply a layer of shellac varnish to prevent the pine wood from leaking out, affecting the paint film.
