Parasites have a certain incubation period. During the incubation period, cats and dogs usually do not have too obvious reactions, so they are very easy to be ignored by parents and miss the best treatment stage. Once the disease occurs, the cat and dog will suffer, and the owner will feel distressed and worry. Here, the editor summarizes the initial symptoms of common ectoparasitics and intrabody parasites in cats and dogs. After understanding, the owners of dogs and cats can detect parasites earlier, avoid suffering from pets and grow up healthily and happily.

1. How to detect ectoparasiosis (fleas, lice, mites, ticks, etc.):

In the early stages of infection with ectoparasiosis, cats and dogs generally show that they bite their tails, bodies, and ears more frequently than before; their personalities are also prone to irritability, and they suddenly fall down to lick their bodies during sleep and play.

Initial examination can find:

1) Checking the ears will find brown dirt and stinky ears;

2) Pulling off the fur of cats and dogs will find flat, dark brown ants-sized objects on the skin, big soybean bugs that tightly sting the cats and dogs' skin, and slightly transparent white particles.

2. How to detect in vivo parasites (roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, heartworms, etc.):

In the early stage of infecting in vivo parasites, cats and dogs are thinner, weaker, diarrhea, easy to get tired, etc.

Initial examinations can find:

1) Cats and dog feces excrete insect eggs and adults;

2) Feces have a rotten stench;

3) Appetite loss;

4) Normal appetite but no flesh or even thinner;

5) There are white flat joints around the anus of cats and dogs.

People's precautions: The owner should pay more attention to the physical reactions of the cat and dog. Usually, the physical discomfort of the cat and dog will be manifested, because the initial manifestation of parasite infection is not obvious, which is very easy for the owner to ignore. Once the dog is found to have the above symptoms, the owner should immediately check the cat and dog's body.

Confirmed in vivo parasites: In vivo parasites are not easy to judge. The owner can go to a reliable pet hospital to conduct laboratory tests and diagnose pet feces. Once confirmed, it will be treated in time. In addition, for in vivo parasites, it is best for the owner to be able to worm regularly. Thorning the parasites in the cradle early can help the baby suffer less. For the sake of the dog, be more careful.
