The German transfer market took stock of the age of the head coaches of the top four league teams in the UK. Luton's new coach Wilshere became the third youngest head coach at 33 years and 10 months.

The following is the age ranking of the head coaches of the 92 clubs in the top four leagues in England (from youngest to oldest):

1. Herzeller (Premier League, Brighton): 32 years and 8 months

2. Will Steele ( English Championship, Southampton): 32 years and 11 months

3. Wilshere (English Championship, Luton): 33 years and 10 months

4. Ryan Mason (English Championship, West Brom): 34 years and 4 months

5. Connor - Hourihane (League 1, Barnsley): 34 years and 9 months

6. Cleverley (League 1, Plymouth): 36 years and two months

7. Martin Patterson (League 2, Notts County): 38 years and 5 months

8. Alan Sheehan (English Championship, Swansea): 39 years and 1 month

9. McKenna (English Championship, Ipswich): 39 years and 5 months

10. Mousinho (English Championship, Portsmouth): 39 years and 6 months
