Chelsea veteran Mikel recently named what he considers to be the best 11-man lineup in Premier League history. During his time with the Blues, Mikel won the Premier League championship twice.

Goalkeeper: Cech

I originally wanted to choose Schmeichel, but it is too difficult to exclude Cech. He is the player with the most clean sheets in Premier League history (202 times).

Right back: Walker

Centre back: Terry

He is my captain and my leader: John Terry.

Central defender: Adams

Ferdinand is also very good. But what Adams did for Arsenal, the way he played, was amazing. He's like a tower, strong and aggressive. I like centre-backs who know when to strike and don't leave any time for the forwards, which is the hardest thing to do.

I think if Van Dijk had played in that era, he wouldn't be as good as he is now. Although the current forwards are also very good, Rooney, Henry, and Drogba were more powerful back then. Van Dijk would have encountered a lot of trouble back then.

Left back: Ashley Cole

He must be selected, I think he is the best left back in the Premier League. Evra? He's a friend of mine, but Ashley is just fantastic and he's doing really well at Chelsea and Arsenal.

Right midfielder: Salah

Salah has broken many records, but I hope to see him play more in major games. But his record is there, undeniable.

Central midfielder: Scholes

If I want to use a 433 formation, my three midfielders will be Roy Keane, Vieira and Gerrard. I think they are very similar.

Central midfielder: Kanter

I need someone who can disrupt the opponent's offense. Compared to Vieira and Keane, I will choose Kanter.

Left midfielder: Hazard

He is one of the best players I have ever played with, Giggs? I think Hazard is really strong even though he's only been here for a while. Of course, Giggs's durability and achievements over more than 20 years are unmatched.

Forward: Didier Drogba

Forward: Henry

Henry can play at the 10th or 9th position. He has speed and power. During those two or three years, Henry was unstoppable. No one could stop him. He was just that powerful.
