Hugo Ekitic has officially announced his joining Liverpool, and Frankfurt social media also said goodbye to him.

Frankfurt official push said: "Thank you for your efforts to the Frankfurt jersey, Hugo! ❤️🙏 After playing in Frankfurt for a year and a half, the French striker will immediately transfer to join Liverpool Football Club."

In the winter window of 2024, Ekitic joined Frankfurt on loan, and Frankfurt bought out after the end of the season. According to German Transfer data, Frankfurt's rental fee + buyout fee totaled 35 million euros, while Liverpool paid 95 million euros transfer fee for it.
