(NASDAQ: EA), a global leader in interactive entertainment, announced today that it has reached a final acquisition agreement with an investment consortium ("consortium") composed of PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners. The all-cash transaction valued EA's corporate valuation at about $55 billion. This deal will enable EA to accelerate innovation and growth to build future entertainment.
Under the terms of the agreement, the consortium will acquire 100% of EA's shares, with PIF extending its existing 9.9% stake in the company. EA shareholders will receive $210 in cash per share. The acquisition price per share is 25% premium to EA's unaffected share price of $168.32 at the close of the market on September 25, 2025 (the last completely unaffected trading day), and is also higher than the unaffected all-time high of $179.01 at the close of the market on August 14, 2025.
