Chelsea official website welcomes Estewan to join the team! The Brazil international reached an agreement with Palmeiras last year to join the world champion team after he turned 18. Now, he has arrived at the Cobham training base and officially started his career in the Blues.

It has been 14 months since it was confirmed that Estewan will join after his 18th birthday. During this time, the talented winger established his core position on Palmeiras' offensive end and made his first appearance for the Brazilian national team in September this year. He has since played four more times for the national team and has played for Palmeiras at the club World Cup this summer.

In the Club World Cup quarterfinals, 18-year-old Estewan scored a goal against Chelsea but failed to stop us from winning the world championship. Like the rest of Chelsea players, he enjoyed a vacation after the event. Now, he has met with his new teammates in Cobham to prepare for the 2024/25 season.

"I am very happy to be a world-class club like Chelsea, and I am very honored to represent a big world-class club like Chelsea," Estewan said on Chelsea's first day. "I hope to help the team in the best way."

Estewan joined Chelsea with extensive experience in senior teams. He made 83 appearances with Palmeiras first team and five appearances for the Brazilian national team in the competitive World Cup qualifiers in the South America.

"I waited for nearly a year and a half to come here, but during this period I have been working hard and doing my best to come here in the best possible state. I am very excited that this is a new stage in my life. I look forward to everything going well."
