What is canine parvovirus enteritis?
Can parvovirus enteritis is caused by canine parvovirus. It is currently the second most mortality rate in China after canine distemper. It is characterized by frequent vomiting, hemorrhagic diarrhea and rapid dehydration. The mortality rate of infected puppies is as high as 50% to 100%.
Based on the frequent vomiting of the dog, severe hemorrhagic diarrhea, dehydration and other manifestations, combined with typical epidemiological characteristics, a preliminary diagnosis can be made. Anthrombosis is helpful for diagnosis. Imported canine parvovirus rapid diagnosis test strips, take a small amount of feces as a test sample, and the diagnosis can be made within 5 to 10 minutes.
As soon as possible, canine parvovirus monoclonal antibody or high-immune serum containing anti-canine parvovirus antibodies, and at the same time, cardiac rehydration, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, antiemetic, anti-diarrhea and hemostatic treatment should be taken for hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and dehydration symptoms.
Usually intravenously, 5% glucose sodium chloride solution or compound sodium chloride solution are added, and appropriate doses of virazole, gentamicin or butamiccana, hemostatic, vitamin K, atropine sulfate or 654-2 hydrochloric acid. For dogs with stubborn vomiting, it is recommended to intramullary injection of ermon, chlorpromazine or atropine sulfate to prevent ejaculation, and the medication can be taken multiple times within 1 day. Gastrointestinal is not suitable for antiemetic in this disease, and its pharmacological effect of promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis often causes massive intestinal bleeding. Animals are fasted and water-free.
