Allison s wife social media praised Liverpool fans for paying tribute to the Jota brothers: What a proud place!
Recently, Alison's wife Natalia posted on social media, expressing affectionate rejoicing Liverpool fans for their tribute to the late Jota and his brother.
Alison's wife posted a series of posts on her Instagram after a "memorable" scene at the Liverpool Anfield Stadium, praising Liverpool fans for their touching tribute to the late Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
Jota, 28, and Silva, 25, were tragically killed in a car accident on July 3 while traveling in Sanabria, Spain's Zamora region, and Liverpool paid tribute to the two players before yesterday's Premier League opening match against Bournemouth.
The mother of three first shared photos of Liverpool's official match day program list, which included photos of the late Jota with dates "Diogo Jota 1996-2025" and "Andre Silva 2000-2025".
She then shared two photos of thousands of fans holding scarves, banners and flags to pay tribute to the late brother, captioned "What a proud place! This is Liverpool!" and thanks all the fans.
Today, Natalia praised them again and shared a touching video of Liverpool fans singing "You Will Never Walk Alone" before the game officially begins.
In her post, Natalia wrote, "YNWA (you will never walk alone) is special. It's always. It's a declaration. Thousands of people sing this song together, a song about unity, hope, faith and love. Yesterday was an unforgettable day and we all need this moment."
