Post: Manchester United will open a large temporary bar near home stadium to provide opportunities for local businesses
According to the Post, Manchester United will open a large temporary bar in Old Trafford.
Manchester United officially announced that it will set up a large 900 square tent behind the Stretford stands, and the new area can accommodate 1,000 fans. This weekend's Premier League Opening Game against Arsenal will be open for free, and welcome guests three hours before the game begins, allowing fans to arrive in advance to create a warm atmosphere for the game. Manchester United also hopes to provide opportunities for local businesses through this move, with local beer brewer Shindigger serving beer and city center restaurant Yard and Coop serving food.
Manchester United will provide fans with a series of entertainment interactive activities in this tent, equipped with a quick wine pour system that fills a glass of beer in 10 seconds. In addition, there are local bands performing live, and club legend Dennis Elvin will also be there to entertain before the game.
Manchester United club partners Estee Lauder and Cadbury will provide giveaways, and fans can also hang their flags on the wall of the tent, the idea stems from consultations with fans who say they want more to see and do around Old Trafford.
If the event is successful, the operating time may be extended. Manchester United is currently reluctant to invest heavily in new facilities in their existing home courts, as they plan to build a new stadium in the next five years. Club officials believe the event may be welcomed and meet their immediate needs.
