According to British media Inside Sport, the FA has sent a letter to UEFA to support Crystal Palace in participating in the UEFA Cup.

Officially, Crystal Palace was relegated to UEFA's multi-club ownership rule, and the FA declined to comment on the situation.

However, it can be revealed that the FA has sent a letter to UEFA in support of Crystal Palace's position. Officials support the FA Cup champions’ right to participate in the event.

Crystal Palace is now expected to submit the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports, when the FA's support may come in handy.
