Dyche: It s an honor to return to Nottingham Forest, our task is to find a balance between offense and defense

Ditch recently returned to Nottingham Forest to replace Ao Bo as the team's new coach, with a contract until the summer of 2027. Dyche also accepted an interview with Nottingham Forest’s official website.
Dyche said he was very happy and proud. As a long-term resident of the city, Dyche has often returned to the City Ground over the years and fondly recalled his early days on the banks of the River Trent after taking office.
"I often speak of my affection for Nottingham Forest because I started my career under the great Brian Clough. Although I didn't break into the first team, this place has left me with great memories."
"It feels strange to be back here, but it's a very good thing and makes me very happy. A lot has changed, both for myself and the club, since I left. The club has grown a lot and I'm very honored and proud to be back here as head coach."
Dyche stressed the importance of ensuring the team's fundamentals are solid in order to progress and inspire fans at the City Stadium in the coming weeks.
"Building the foundation of a team is always the most important. Being strong, healthy and organized is always a good starting point, but I want the players to be free to play. There are a lot of real talents here, and our task is to find a balance between taking risks to score points while maintaining a solid defensive foundation. Offensive and defensive balance has always been an important weapon for the club, especially last season. Finding this balance will be key."
"Get familiar with the ball. It's important for the players to know where they are and for them to know themselves, but more importantly for them to bounce back and rejuvenate themselves. They showed great form in our first training session and we want to continue that momentum and put these plans into action. We remind them of how good they are, what they have achieved and how they can build on that to deliver continued performance."
