Gao Xingli pointed out that in terms of LDL-C treatment guidelines, there are currently multiple sets of guidelines internationally. Taiwan has connected with the international community to set the treatment target for high-risk patients to be less than 55mg/dL, and the lower the better, the lower the better. There is no need to set a lower limit. However, the domestic public has myths that believe that using medicine to control blood lipids will aggravate the risks of dementia, brain wind and other risks, and instead use health foods without scientific evidence.
